As outdoor enthusiasts ourselves, we jumped at the opportunity to capture the great adventure that nature has to offer, especially through the lense of the historically rich Harbison State Forest. The paths and routes forged by native tribes to the French Broad gave us the inspiration to focus on what is offered today: hiking, train running and off-road cycling trails.
Filming for a University can be a difficult task. With such a wide variety of academics, activities, and diverse lifestyles, Columbia International University was looking for us to capture the heartbeat of their campus. From inside the classroom to the middle of the court during a team practice and roommates kicking back after a day full of learning, we were able to communicate their core mission: developing leaders to impact the nations with the message of Christ.

"Baby Heavy", is a film documenting the life of a letterpress. ByFarr Design Studio recently welcomed an early 1900’s Chandler & Price Letterpress into its fleet. The press is affectionately named Baby Heavy and the team is excited to tell its tale. This short documentary, filmed by Kickstand Studio, captures the history of letterpress printing, the work that goes into preserving these treasured machines and the beautiful work they create. Follow the documentary as it covers the history of printing, the significance of letterpress in today's world, interviews with local designers and antique experts and Baby Heavy's trip from Tennessee to Columbia.
